¡¡Al fin !! ¡¡ya tengo wifi en debian !!
Tras mucho tiempo deseandolo… al fin he conseguido que funcione (gracias indio), el portatil es un PowerBook de 15″ y la tarjeta una AirPort Extreme , el sistema que uso es Debian Etch.
Una pena que por el momento no podramos tener la red con WPA pero si con WEP que tampoco está nada mal no ??
Aquí os pongo los pasos a seguir…
Receta al canto:
- apt-get install ieee80211softmac-modules-2.6.15-1-powerpc
- apt-get install bcm43xx-fwcutter
Este proceso hará algo similar a esto…

Lo que hace es bajarse el frimware de la tarjeta y nos lo coloca en /lib/frimware
- apt-get install bcm43xx-modules-2.6.15-1-powerpc
Ahora ya podremos configurar nuestra tarjeta facilmente…

modprobe bcm43xx
ifconfig eth1 up
iwlist eth1 scan
iwconfig eth1 channel 10 rate 11M essid mi_ap
dhclient eth1
y si tiene wep…. iwconfig eth1 key clave_hex

muy buenas toi intentando instalar los drivers pues tengo como tu el mismo portatil pero me podrias decir los repositorios q usas porq intento instalar el primer paquete y no me lo encuentra.
y segundo q programa usas para gestionar la airport?¿
